Who We Are
Welcome to Founders Classical Academy Online!
We are an online classical program for grades K-11. We believe in a well-rounded, virtue-centered education that nurtures both intellectual and moral growth. Our online classical school follows the Trivium, a time-tested method of learning that aligns with your child’s natural cognitive development. Unlike many online programs that focus on passive learning, we encourage active engagement, curiosity, and deep thinking. Our certified teachers deliver instruction in live class sessions as well as through asynchronous content. We provide a traditional classical education, through modern online platforms and tools.
Our Mission
Founders Classical Academy Online seeks to provide an excellent and distinctively classical education that pursues knowledge, promotes virtue, and prepares students for prosperous lives in a free society.
Our Blended Program Schedule
- Blended program:
- Synchronous (live) + Asynchronous (independent) learning
- Monday: Asynchronous learning day — (students may be required to attend tutoring or small groups)
- Tuesday – Friday: Mix of synchronous (live) and asynchronous (independent) learning
LIVE class attendance is required
School Day is from 7:45am – 3:15pm
OUR UNIQUE APPROACH TO ONLINE EDUCATION
Our faculty works with students to provide individualized learning plans focused on academic and personal growth. Upon enrollment, students are provided access to assessment to determine accurate placement. Ongoing evaluation allows teachers to monitor progress closely and determine if a student needs additional small-group instruction. This approach will enable us to support your child specifically and individually.
The learning coach, typically the parent or legal guardian, is an enthusiastic supporter, is dedicated to the student’s academic success, and is expected to actively participate in daily activities, depending on the student’s age.
